Music Reminiscence Hour
Staff play era-appropriate music from the 1940s–1970s while residents listen, sing along, and share memories triggered by songs. Music is the most powerful cognitive engagement tool in dementia care; even non-verbal residents with advanced dementia frequently respond to familiar songs.
SNF version: Document observable responses. Note songs that elicit strongest engagement. Link to care plan.
- 1.Welcome residents. Ask: "What decade of music do you love most?"
- 2.Play 6–8 songs from the chosen era. Pause between songs to invite memories.
- 3.Invite residents to share a memory linked to one song.

Observance: National Women and Girls in Sports Day
You build and edit your schedule. National days and auto-schedule drafts help fill gaps — not a fixed pick-B-for-MC matrix on every day yet.
Roadmap vision: multiple pre-filled options per time slot by care level (SNF / AL / MC / 1:1 / bedbound). Today: you schedule activities, filter by unit, print, and use auto-schedule to draft empty days.
