1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Purposeful Activity ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of service

Purposeful Activity is a web-based activity programming platform designed for activity directors and professionals working in senior living communities including Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Nursing Facilities (NF), Assisted Living (AL), Memory Care, and Independent Living (IL).

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and a professional working in or for a senior living or healthcare organization to use this Platform.

4. Free trial

New users may access the Platform free for 7 days without providing payment information. Full access to all features included in your selected plan is available during the trial period.

5. Subscription and billing

  • 5.1 After your free trial, continued access requires a paid subscription.
  • 5.2 Plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at signup.
  • 5.3 Early adopter pricing is locked for 2 years from your signup date.
  • 5.4 After the 2-year early adopter period, standard pricing of $29.99/mo applies. You will receive at least 30 days notice before any price change.

6. Cancellation and refund policy

  • 6.1 You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
  • 6.2 Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period.
  • 6.3 No partial month refunds are issued for monthly plans.
  • 6.4 No partial year refunds are issued for annual plans.
  • 6.5 You retain full access to the Platform until the end of your paid period.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials with users outside your facility
  • Reproduce, distribute, or resell any content from the Platform
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the Platform

8. Content and intellectual property

All content on the Platform including activity guides, documentation templates, AI-generated outputs, and program materials are owned by or licensed to Purposeful Activity. You may use content for your facility's internal programming purposes only.

9. AI-generated content

The Platform uses artificial intelligence to generate documentation, activity suggestions, and other content. AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and should be reviewed by a qualified professional before use in clinical documentation. Purposeful Activity is not responsible for AI-generated content used in official facility records.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Purposeful Activity does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Purposeful Activity shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Clinical disclaimer

Purposeful Activity is not a medical service and does not provide medical, clinical, or therapeutic advice. Content on the Platform is for activity programming purposes only. Always consult qualified clinical professionals for medical and therapeutic decisions.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Changes to terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email at least 30 days in advance.
